Punkin enjoys her papa's lap at the
beach. She's enjoying her retirement in Hawaii (she's a remarkable 17
years old now!) - doesn't miss having
to wear sweaters to go out, and she certainly doesn't miss cold paws from
the snow!
Her days are spent guarding our home, and
her rewards are evenings with mommy and papa playing with her 100+ toys,
rides in the truck - hanging her head out the window catching the trade
winds, and lazy days at the beach where folks always stop to play with her.
Punkin's special treat is going out to dinner and a show
in Waikiki - we take her into Waikiki every once in awhile, and walk her
down to a McD's with outdoor seating. She eats her own hamburger and
enjoys the music and dancing right across the street at the open lobby
hotel. After that we walk off the calories down on Kuhio Beach.
Imagine how all the tourists (who have left their beloved pets at home) just
fawn all over her - she adores the attention, and sleeps like a baby when we
get home from her tour...
She's quite the star wherever we go!
