Standing here looking at thousands of
years of lava flows that built this land. Can't help but be awe
inspired by how old yet how young this land is where we live!
We love hiking and this is one of our
favorite trails - we've hiked up both sides of it to Ka'ena Point.
Can't get there by car - the roads end farther south of here. We hike
it but have seen folks do the trail by trail bikes!
It's a great way to get away from phones,
computers, bills and the general hustle-bustle of daily work lives, and get
back in touch with nature.
